Reinvigoration at base station (Bermuda Oct 10)

Yea......... it's been a LONGGG time since i last posted... but dont worry... I've been stocking up photos this whole time. It's doesnt hurt to have evidence of the beauty of the world at the edge of your fingertips, or edge of your eyeballs? Either way here are some pics from my most recent journey to my homeland.... Bermuda. How can you get enough Bermuda, it's just beautiful.

This is actually on the way out of Bermuda, but whatever... aerial view of a serene space... Bermuda even looks inviting from the sky.

It's been ages since I've gone back to Bermuda as well... Sadly I had to go for what you mortals call.. a funeral, but it ended up being a very progressive event for the whole community. RIP Roberta Francis, you would have love'd your party.

Dive on in, watch your head on the cliffs though. seriously... you might not come back up if you hit one.

Caught some people peeping the view so I had to get a shot of them. Not a great shot but I like taking photos of people when they're not paying any attention to the camera. A little candid work goes a long way.

S.A.G.A. sunset

Savannah, Savannah, Savannah........ wow........ I really don't know what to say... Five years is a long time to live somewhere, so the stories are quite vast. Here are some pics from a serene sunset in Savannah. I'll leave all the crazy stories for some other time, and I have ALOT of those.

that long black ribbon

riding off into the sunset..... epic

St. Patrick's S.A.G.A.

The famous Forsyth Park fountain in Savannah, GA. aka the S.A.G.A. I've had some crazy times in Forsyth Park. Michael Franti has played there, Aaron Neville, Stephen Marley, even the late great James Brown. Plus (random fact) they filmed some part of Forrest Gump somewhere around there.

VCBC (pt. 2): the cityscape

So imagine if Manhattan was 20 times cleaner, and had double the amount of crackheads. That's pretty much a quick assessment of the neighborhood I was at, in Vancouver. Regardless, it was actually a pretty cool place, right around Cambie St, in the village-like stoner area of town. It's just surprising to walk 3 to 5 blocks down and literally see people shooting up on the street, literally. Other than that I had a really great time. It's just amazing to see the contrast between suit-chimps and freeworld drooges in such close proximity.

From the fire escape of the building I was interning at

I like...

It's like a really, really clean Manhattan, seriously

I'm hungry for R.I.B.

A shot from Randall's Island Bridge.... at least that's what I'm calling it, you can find out the real name if ya want. Don't bother me none (chuckle)....

Just to start off, taking a random journey after you complete a mission, (errand, if your a lame), is so wholeheartedly fulfilling, that you have to share that experience, via photoblog online (*cough*) lame (*cough*). Anywaym whilst walking around, what I believed to be the middle east (ahaha HAHAHA) side of Manhattan, I discovered a bridge that led to an island, so obviously I pushed bravely across that bridge, in search of adventure..... and excitement. Behold my discovery.............

RANDALL'S ISLAND
named after my uncle Randall

i love this picture

and this one.... similar, but never the same

canted.... look it up

The Hutch

Hutchinson Island.... wow.... I don't even know where to start... In case you didn't know, Hutchinson Island is a little piece of land in between South Carolina and Georgia, yea I know... but it's there. I've had so many great times in this place, that one set of pictures could never describe the tales. Love, Leisure, and Lucy, with the occasional slices of danger, how could anybody go wrong. Here's a set of pictures showing a more serene view of Hutchinson Island, I think the place is covered in golf resort housing now.... go figure. Anyway..... Hutch.... It was fun whilst it lasted.

Looks like a nice lake... oh no wait, its a water trap, like for golf, a... sport... if you will. If you can't get hurt... it's not a sport

Stock photo?

That long black ribbon, getting, longer all the time

Le voyage en train à Montréal

Can you see the forest through the trees

So who would have thought the the train ride to Montreal would be entertaining... me, that's who. Preppy cottages, quarantine docks, swamps, confederate flags (in the North, um.. interesting), yachts, beachfront property, and houses that should have been quarantined, all in upstate New York, and maybe Connecticut, I wasn't paying that much attention. In the midst of jamming out to music, sleeping, and roaming from my seat to the beverage cart, to get ice for the wine I was drinking, I managed to snap some beautiful shots of the sunset.

.................with out speech................

Yes, I was actually on a train when I shot this

and no, I can't walk on water

Queens Amusement in Astoria Park

It's funny how you can meet up with a friend of a friend (yawn) of a friend, to have that friend (yawn), then say, that you can't chill at their house. Now what..... On to the town we go!... Luckily, we ended up in Astoria Park, with a couple of pint sized drinks and a passport to excitement. Plus, oh yea, there were fireworks! I'll take it.

I have no idea which bridge that is.... Can you figure it out?

Excuse the blurriness I told you there were pints involved

Stil drinking... seriously what bridge is that? Now there's a cash prize involved... for real

See, I told you there were fireworks

Aruban Sunset

Just a beautiful place to be.
(watch out for lizards)

more from Aruba, coming coon..

VCBC (pt 1)

VANCOUVER........ ahhh.... Vancouver. What an amazing city. Apart from the stolen-item street-merchants, the late night heroin-zombie walks, the ever vagrant crack-whores, and the shameless shooting up of hard drugs intravenously, literally on the sidewalk, I thought Vancouver was a great place to explore. I found the derelicts to be even more entertaining, and had some good conversations with those of the homeless persuasion, which i usually do. All around as a city, Vancouver's got a lot to offer physically, spirituality, and culturally. The views of Vancouver are just amazing. Take a look at some pics from the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, in Canada, in North America, in the Northern Hemisphere, of Planet Earth.

rolling mountains.... no pun intended.... you had to be there

...not the fool on the hill
